    Hi Nurse Cheung! I just want to thank God for allowing me to find you last week. I was told I only had one week before my TEAS test and to not study as much. I watched a few of your videos up until I had to take the test on Saturday morning. I PASSED 🎉🎊👏🏾👍🏾. Thank God 🙏🏾 ❤️. Thank you for explaining everything so well and so detailed, for everyone at any level of learning. I was informed that I am a rare case of doing extremely well on the first try. I will be starting nursing school with Keiser University in January 2025!!! Thank you again, and God bless 🙏🏾❤️. P.S. I will be becoming a member of your channel as soon as I start nursing school.

    The science portion BLEW MY MIND there’s NO WAY they can say that that’s general high school knowledge. I do well watching these and mometrix videos but then actually taking the test I can see it doesn’t follow these questions half at all. The other sections I scored pretty high. I was wildly unprepared for science. No fault to you creators..I just have no clue where they got those questions from

    • @NurseCheung
      @NurseCheung 2 дні тому

      It sounds really frustrating to feel well-prepared and then encounter questions that seem out of left field. The TEAS has been adding more concepts that were not covered in the original outlines or guidelines. This is why I created my own study guides and practice questions to help bridge those gaps. Hang in there, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you need suggestions on other materials or strategies to tackle those surprising science questions!

    Nurse Chung, you know the TEAS. The paragraphs are longer they'll have 3 to 4 paragraphs in on read. So, how do you choose the main idea in that case?

    • @NurseCheung
      @NurseCheung 2 дні тому

      When dealing with longer passages that have multiple paragraphs on the TEAS, the main idea is conveniently placed in the last lines of the first paragraph unless the passage ask for the main idea of a certain paragraph then it will be the last line of that paragraph.

    I have a question Nurse Cheung, how do I need to prepare for Teas exam. Is only watching videos enough or do I actually need to take notes and write down for every single system which is a lot, it’s too much. When I want to start, I look at all the systems that I need to study, I get overwhelmed, I don’t know where to start. Could you please suggest some ideas. Your videos and teachings are tremendously helpful. Thank you, I appreciate you!!

    • @NurseCheung
      @NurseCheung 7 днів тому

      Starting with a practice test can be a great way to pinpoint which areas you're struggling with before you dive deep into studying for the TEAS exam. Watching videos can be a helpful part of your study strategy, especially for visual and auditory learners, but actively taking notes and writing down key information can significantly boost your retention. If you're feeling overwhelmed by the amount of content, focus on one system at a time. Break your study sessions into smaller, more manageable topics and gradually build up your knowledge base. This approach can make the information less daunting and more digestible. Your proactive engagement with the material, like taking notes and practicing with quizzes, will reinforce what you learn and help you perform better on the exam.

  • @dianakline5117
    @dianakline5117 7 днів тому

    So these videos should be used as supplemental to other materials? I almost feel overwhelmed, as I have started studying an online course. Sometimes I also feel like I will never get through all the material. Any suggestions?

    • @NurseCheung
      @NurseCheung 7 днів тому

      It sounds like the course might not be structured in a way that's helping you focus on what you need to know for the TEAS. Using these videos as supplemental material is a great approach. They can help reinforce key concepts and fill in any gaps left by your primary study materials. If you're feeling overwhelmed, try to prioritize your study topics based on the TEAS exam content outline. Break your study sessions into manageable chunks, and make sure to incorporate plenty of practice questions to test your understanding. Don't hesitate to adjust your resources and strategies until you find a mix that works best for you. We have lives sessions every Tuesday and Thursday at 7PM EST where you have the chance to come ask your questions and learn in real time. This may be more helpful for you :)

    Hi, What’s the lowest score you can get on each section to pass with a 60 or higher ?

    • @NurseCheung
      @NurseCheung 7 днів тому

      If you're aiming for a composite score of 60 or higher, you would need to average at least 60% across all sections. However, some sections might be weighted more heavily depending on the school's criteria, so it's a good idea to score as high as possible in each section. It's important to check with the specific program for their scoring requirements to better understand how your scores will be evaluated.

    I am so overwhelmed and doing horribly with the science portion. I printed the study guide. When I watch the videos I try to take notes then, when I go over the study guide I feel like I have too much notes and info going on, like I’m overdoing it. I feel like there’s so much info. I’m focusing on every detail spoken.

      Deep breaths ❤ You got this. Make sure you are only studying one topic a day like one day is Chemistry, one day is A&P, etc... Also make sure you are taking a practice test before you create your study plan. This will help identify areas that you are struggling with. Study those areas you did the worse in to help bring up your overall score and do a light study of the areas you are strong in. You may want to try active learner where you speak the content out-loud as if you were teaching it to someone else. This helps with memory recall and retention. You got this, I believe in you ❤
